What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your display name and email address. When you submit reviews, we store your review content and ratings.
We do not sell your data. We do not track you across other websites. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the platform.
How We Use Your Data

- To moderate content and enforce community guidelines
- To improve the platform experience
Anonymous Reviews
You can choose to post reviews anonymously. When you do, your display name is hidden from public view. Moderators may still access your identity for content moderation purposes.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for our database and authentication infrastructure, hosted in North America.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cannot be disabled as they are required for the platform to function.
We use analytics cookies (via PostHog) to understand how the platform is used and to improve the experience. Analytics cookies are only set with your explicit consent. You can accept or decline analytics cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and change your preference at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
Data Retention
- Account data (profile, reviews, ratings, roles) is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Deleted accounts are permanently purged within 30 days, including all associated reviews, ratings, roles, scene cred, nominations, feedback, and claims.
- Analytics data is anonymized and retained for up to 12 months.
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
Your Rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Access your data — Download a complete copy of your data in JSON format from your account settings.
- Correct your data — Update your display name, username, bio, and roles in your account settings.
- Delete your data — Permanently delete your account and all associated data from your account settings.
- Data portability — Export your data in a machine-readable format (JSON) to transfer it to another service.
- Withdraw consent — Decline or withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
- File a complaint — Contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your local EU data protection authority.

All Ages is operated by Opus Vita. Opus Vita is the data controller responsible for your personal data under PIPEDA and GDPR.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

- Contract performance — Account creation, review submission, and other core platform features you request.
